1. Where your data is

  • Workspace (saved creators, categories, bookmarks, notes, library, settings): in your browser, on your device.
  • Downloaded files, screenshots and clips: in your Downloads folder (or the folder you chose) on your PC.
  • Download Manager history (file names, addresses, sizes, status and save locations) and partial parts of unfinished downloads (in a hidden .aurora-partial folder inside Downloads): on your PC, kept by the Helper.
  • Backups (optional): in your own Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox.
  • Account record (name, email, Google account identifier, plan status, daily count of video and audio saves): on our servers, hosted by Supabase.
  • Payment records: with Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, plus the subscription details Paddle shares with us.

Read the Privacy Policy for full details.

2. Delete your local workspace

Your workspace is stored only in your browser. Removing the extension deletes it from that browser.

In Google Chrome, open the menu and go to Extensions → Manage Extensions (or type chrome://extensions in the address bar).
Find Aurora Tube and click Remove, then confirm.
Repeat on any other computer or Chrome profile where you installed Aurora Tube.
This cannot be undone. If you want to keep your workspace, make a backup to your own cloud storage first.

3. Cancel or remove downloads and partial files

Files you download with Aurora Tube are saved on your PC, and their history is kept in the Download Manager on your PC. Nothing is stored on our servers.

To stop a download that is in progress, cancel it in the Download Manager. A paused or failed download can be continued later, or cancelled if you no longer want it.
While a download is unfinished, its partial parts are kept in a hidden .aurora-partial folder inside your Downloads folder. Cancelling an unfinished download, or removing it from the Download Manager list, deletes its partial parts.
Removing a finished download from the list only removes it from your history. It never deletes the finished file; delete the file from your Downloads folder yourself if you want it gone.

To stop Aurora Tube from handling downloads at all, turn off "Download every file with Aurora" in Settings. Chrome then handles your downloads as usual.

4. Remove the Helper and your downloaded files

In Windows, open Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
Find Aurora Tube Helper, choose Uninstall and confirm.
Files you downloaded are yours and are not removed automatically. Delete them from your Downloads folder if you no longer want them. If you uninstall while a download is still unfinished, you can also delete the hidden .aurora-partial folder inside Downloads.

Site cookies that the extension passes to the Helper are used only while a download runs and never saved by the Helper or sent to Aurora Tube, so there is nothing to delete or request from us.

5. Delete your cloud backup

Aurora Tube does not keep a copy of your backups. They are in your own cloud account, so you delete them there:

Open your Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox and delete the Aurora Tube backup files.
Remove Aurora Tube's access to your cloud account: Google account connections, Microsoft app permissions or Dropbox connected apps.

6. Delete your Aurora Tube account

If you have Aurora Pro, cancel your subscription first using the link in your Paddle receipt email, so you are not charged again. See the Refund Policy.
Email officialcontact022@gmail.com from the email address of the Google account you sign in with, using the subject Delete my Aurora Tube account. Do not send passwords or card details.
Optionally, remove Aurora Tube from your Google account connections to stop Google sign-in for Aurora Tube.

We may ask you to confirm the request so that nobody else can delete your account. We then delete your account record, plan status and download counts within 30 days and confirm by email.

We keep only what the law requires, such as transaction records needed for tax and accounting. Paddle keeps its own payment records under the Paddle Privacy Policy; you can also contact Paddle directly about data it holds.
